    יצירת מופת זו היא ללא ספק אחד הספרים המרגשים והחזקים ביותר שנכתבו אי-פעם בתחום ההתפתחות הרוחנית. אוטוביוגרפיה המביאה את סיפור חייה של אשה במאה העשרים החוזרת אחורה לגלגולים קודמים שלה, בעיקר לתקופה בה היתה כוהנת צעירה במצרים העתיקה. הספר מדלג בין חייה בתקופה המודרנית לגלגולים מוקדמים שלה שקבעו את עתיד הנשמה. מתוארים אירועים וההתנסויות שתרמו לצמיחתה הרוחנית, מתוארת הכנתה להתקדשות ככוהנת צעירה והובלתה צעד אחר צעד בנתיבי ההתעלות הרוחנית על ידי הכהן הגדול.

    הספר מראה את ההקשרים בין החיים וההתנסויות בהווה וכיצד הם שלובים ומושפעים מזיכרונות מהתנסויות בחיים קודמים. בין לבין מובאת לקורא כמות עצומה של ידע ייחודי ומקיף בנושאי התפתחות אישית, אסטרולוגיה, טבע המציאות והגאומטריה המקודשת בעומק וירידה לפרטים שלא נודעו כמותם.

    הספר נכתב בשנת 1953, הוא תורגם ל-17 שפות ונמכר במיליוני עותקים. בישראל יצא לאור לראשונה בשנת 1984.
